Fathers Day

In honour of fathers day, and therefore my wonderful dad (and father-in-law too), I had a play with our wonderful decoration theme 'Return of the Swallows' and made a cute card.

What's that?  you didn't know we did cards!  well you do now, we can do a class on a theme and build a series of cards.  I just ask that you purchase the theme pack in advance, so that everyone has their own kit and as normal, I provide all the tools, consumables and tuition.  Easy!  These are ordered and run especially for each group so book it least 3 weeks ahead and let me have some idea of the type of cards you'd like to do, usually 3-5 cards can be completed in the time.

Take a look at the themes in the main catalogue - and the new September products and let me know which one you'd like to do and we can organise it for you.  Of course if you really love ALL our products we can make it a regular monthly class and make a different set each time.

Hello,

As the weather is getting chillier here now - especially in the evenings and mornings we tend to hunker down keeping warm indoors and get out those scrap projects that have been waiting patiently for our return.

Yesterday I was at a De-Stash event in Bunbury, getting rid of all the old bits of craft I've not used, or part used, Jane and I had a lovely day and met some great people, managed to sell a few bits and not buy too much more!!!  Next one is in Toodyay in two weeks - have a day out, come along and see what you can find, better still have a clear out and bring your stuff.  Look up Hills Fabric and Craft on Facebook and book yourself a table.

Then you'll be ready to get your photos printed, your Azza stuff out and settle down to some serious scrapping.

I've put on extra classes in Glen Iris this month (June) on Thursday 22, Friday 23 and Saturday 24, Thursday 29, Friday 30.  Times are available for beginners and experienced scrappers alike.  Please remember, booking is essential as only 8 spaces maximum per class!   Check out the new products and have a play.

Check out the Bunbury Classes tab for details of how to book.

Happy Scrapping!

May New Products & May classes

Lace Stamp May 2017New Products
Wow, what a lovely set of products we have coming in this month. Take a look at our flippy book - see the new product tab, and drop me an email if you would like anything.

I have just received my April order so will be contacting everyone to get your products to you in the next few days.

May Classes
Classes in May are a bit topsy turvy as I have a conference to attend, so no classes on 11/12 of May.

Classes are:
Saturday 13 - afternoon
Thursday 18 - evening
Friday 19 - morning
Saturday 20 - afternoon
Thursday 25 - evening
Friday 26 - morning

The Quilt and Craft show in Perth is on from 24 - 28, but Azza is not having a stand this year - but watch out for us at the Claremont show later in the year.

I hope to be running a special course to teach lots of different techniques for chalking later in the year, but you do have to have done one or 'basic azza' classes first so get in now so that you are up to speed to join those classes.  More details will come out when I've set the dates.

Happy scrapping,

Barbara

April Class Changes

I thought I'd better let you know of some changes to my classes in April due to Easter.

Thursday 6 April – 7.30-10.30
Friday 7 April – 9.30 – 12.30
Saturday 8 April – 2 -5

Thursday 20 April – 7.30-10.30
Friday 21 April – 9.30 – 12.30
Saturday 22 April – 2 -5

Let me know if you want to book in and I'll send you my address.  Don't forget all you need is your photos - I provide everything else.

Some of the ladies who are already attending classes have asked if I'd teach chalking to them. There are so many different aspects to chalking we actually run a 10-page course.  I plan to run this later in the year.  You do need to have been to a couple of classes before you start one of our courses as you need to be quick to get your photos onto the page so that we can do some technique before finishing the page using that technique.   So this is a heads up that if you want to start learning the more indepth techniques you will need to book in to a couple of 'normal' classes in the next couple of months so we can start the course. It's a great way to plan and finish an album - especially as you get chalks included in the cost of the course so you can practice and do extra pages at home in between times.  Well, you can dream of doing so, I know many of you come to scrapping as your escape time and that's the only time you get to do your craft so that's fine too.

Here are a couple of pages using chalks to show what you can achieve:

Hello again,

Sorry I've been quiet for a while.  I've been busy with classes and new products.
Here is a page I've done with the new Aqua template and the Australian Gum Nuts dies:

The photos were taken around Curtin University Bentley campus in Perth - I'm studying with them on line and love when I get an excuse to visit. The campus is so photogenic! I'm currently doing a whole book with photos from there so you will see more in the coming weeks.

I've been doing some 'up-skilling' as well. As those who have been to a class or demo will know, Azza is hot on teaching us to teach you.  Once we've passed our basic training there is free on going training so you can be sure we know what to show you to get the best from your products.  I'm currently working on our Stamping Module.  Once I've passed the competency I'll be able to run a full stamping course showing you all the different things you can do with our beautiful stamps.  I will be running courses on chalking and inking too (having already completed those skills) - you would be surprised at all the things you can do with these basic bits of kit.  If you are interested let me know - as soon as I have a few people interested we can set the dates.

Check out our new March Products flipping book (click underlined words) - for card makers and scrappers alike there are some beautiful new stamps, dies, textures and embossing folders on the themes 'Provence', 'Cruising', 'Photo Filters'.  Here is just a taste...

Book into a class if you'd like to inspect them more closely.

The classes coming up in March in Glen Iris (Bunbury) are:

Thursday 9 March         7.30pm - 10.30pm
Friday 10 March            9.30am - 12.30pm
Satuday 11 March         2.00pm - 5.00pm
Thursday 16 March       7.30pm - 10.30pm
Friday 17 March            9.30am - 12.30pm
Satuday 18 March         2.00pm - 5.00pm

I do have ladies coming already, so please let me know if you want to book in. Places are limited to six.

Happy Scrapping,
Barb
