Decoration Stencil Duo Flash Sale

Quick message from Azza Pacific - DON'T MISS OUT!!!!!

For 4 days only ALL our Decoration Stencil Duo sets are reduced by 20%. To purchase the stencils go to:-
https://shop.azzaworld.com.au/ and search for 'decorative stencil duo'

...or talk to ME!   Sale ends midnight on Sunday 19th April.

Not sure how to use our decoration stencils or looking for extra inspiration? Check out my gallery for inspiration or book an on-line class (and come in person when we can get together again).

Decoration Stencils are a very cost effective way of adding a decorative element to your page as they can be used over and over again with different colours, mediums - inks, chalks etc and different techniques - brush, sponge, pom pom.  Some of our stencils are themed based for example vintage, tropical, alpine, theme park, country wedding to co-ordinate with your layouts. Others are abstract and can be used on any page.

Here are some of my pages as examples...

Above: I've used a texture stencil with ink and an alphabet stencil with pen.Below: A quick and simple page - I've used ink and re-worked with chalk pencils to give more colour, finally adding a bit of zig writer for definition.

Above: I've created a scene using the daubers to just put the ink in the exact place on the chair and book to give it the 3D effect, a bit of gold gel pen finishes the edges of the 'pages' in the book.  I've then cut out the book and stuck on-top of the chair, which is itself mounted on a piece of the green paper.

Below: I've used ink and daubers again to make the lighthouse look round, finishing this scene with a silhouette figure and short length of twine.

April Update

Well hello... is any one out there???

It seems, from the news media that the whole world is stuck at home, and from my Facebook news-feed they are equally spread between those crafting furiously, baking and praying.  I have to say as one who is (thankfully) still working I do feel a little left out.  I really would like to be joining the fun, but work and study are keeping my mind from crafting.

Hope you all had a great Easter...

Azza Pacific is still packing and sending parcels out so you can get your craft supplies either from me (if you are in the Bunbury area) or direct by post.  So I do however have some beautiful new products to share in our APRIL CATALOGUE - go ahead, grab a glass and take a look.   Oh all right, here is a quick sneek peep...
Zurich is our new template, in duo or studio as usual.  Is it just me or can you see a flower bud?

If your family are into fishing or taking to the waterways of our beautiful land you'll love the decorations this month...

The detail in the stamps are stunning. So wanting time to play!

I am looking at doing some on-line scrap tables so that you can get some inspiration or just generally chat with your scrappy mates around a virtual table - I'll post times on Facebook when I've worked out my schedule.  This has not been helped by my upgrading to Office 365 and losing all my contacts and calendars.  Not impressed! Hopefully I can retrieve this weekend and be back in touch with everyone again soon.

Meanwhile... did you know it is World Creativity and Innovation week?  no neither did I until tonight.   I know you are all very creative, but have you used your Azza products in an innovative way?

Last Christmas my ladies all made beautiful art panels using our texture stencils, texture paste and inks...

and we shared a lovely lunch too!

Cheers everyone, until we can meet again in person, stay safe and carry on crafting.

Barb :-)

Happy New Year!

I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year break however you celebrate it.

Thinking of all our friends and family in all the bush fire zones this new year and hoping they come through stronger and more resilient than every.

I've set the scrapping dates for the first half of 2020.   The dates below are for the Beginners & Intermediate classes and the Chalking course.  I also have a continuing Stamping course which is on 2nd Saturday, and I might be able to run an open scrap session ('scrap table') on those days... watch this space.

DATES:
January:     25
February:   22
March:       28  (weekend following Retreat which is 20-22)
April:         CHANGED TO MAY 2 (due to ANZAC day and also 2 May is world scrapbooking day so we should party!)
May:           30  (changed as my last assignment for the semester will be due in on 29th)
June:          27  (AM session either a ‘normal’ scrap or Chalking catch up.

Chalking – Mornings  9.30 – 12.30 [five lessons: Jan / Feb / Mar / Apr/ May]
  • For this class you need the ORION template/studio and you will get a set of chalks each class.
  • Before the class I send out two example of pages which you will copy and a ‘studio page’ showing you where to place your photos.
  • It is good if you can organise your photos in advance as that gives us more time during the class.
  • During the class you build a page and then we do the technique on a page which will make a little reference booklet by the end of the course.
  • Then finish your page.
  • Cost is either:
    • Direct Debit - on the first of each month $45/month - includes 5 classes, the studio kit & chalks - obviously less if you already have the template, please ask.
    • Monthly - $37 per month - includes 1 class plus 1 chalk pack (worth $14) – NB: first month you will also need to purchase the template (duo for $29.5 or studio kit at $55) if you don't already have it.
Beginners / Intermediate – Afternoons  2 – 5.
  • For this class you just need to bring your photos - I provide everything else.
  • Cost $25
  • Includes loyalty stamp.
So there will be two lessons each day,  come for one or both.  If you want to stay for both just byo lunch.  Kettle will be on as usual, microwave available.

Let me know if you want to book in for any days - booking is ESSENTIAL as I have limited space (even a quick text the night before is helpful).

Check back here or sign up for an alert for news of our AZZA JANUARY SALE and new products, coming shortly.

Meanwhile, happy scrapping,
Barb

November New Products and last chance class

Hello again,

We are almost through November, so it is lucky that our latest catalogue (Click HERE) and special offers last through until 17 December.  The Christmas products are quite special this year - worth a look for sure.  I love wreaths and rings and we have some fantastic ones in the range this year - I foresee some stunning Christmas cards with these!

Be sure to get your orders in early as on the 18 December our logistics team lock up for a Christmas break and reopen on 13 January.

If any of your family is stuck for your Christmas gifts they can shop on line or through me - and we do vouchers so you can choose and make Christmas last a bit longer.  You can even make it last the rest of the year with a Subscription to our Scrap n'moi Magazine.  Check out the website shop or ask me for details.  It's super value at only $65 for 4 issues.

We had a great time with the beautiful Christine Houbrechts from the Azza Creative Team in Belgium.  The WA Azza Team had a master class of our own before a customer master class the following day.   We learned how to use the new 'pom-poms' with ink to create shading to give our work real depth...  I used the technique in this close up of a page I made the following week.  Really effective, so simple and fits into the inking techniques class perfectly.

This week was the fifth session in the chalking course.  The technique we did was 'extending the picture'.  I love how it makes the photos step out into the page -
or fills in gaps between photos.

Talking of classes, you have one last chance this year to get to a class.  This coming Saturday, 23 November I have two classes, 9.30am - 1pm has four spaces, but the 2.30 - 5pm only has two spots left.   Both are open classes for beginners to advanced. Drop me a line to grab the spot for yourself.

The new year will have more chalking classes, so let me know if you would like to join in them. There are five classes (one each month), each using the Orion template (so you will need your own) and we learn a different technique using chalks each time.  Spaces are limited but there are a couple available.  Drop me a line if you would like to join in.

Enjoy the sunshine, stay safe and carry on crafting,
until next time,
Barb

October Products and Classes

Oh dear oh dear... it is 10 Oct already.   I should probably say 'Merry Christmas' just so I get in early, but lets not.  First we must enjoy the wonderful new products in October:  Neptune Templates and Universe Decorations.  They are heavenly (sorry couldn't resist the pun).  Catalogue can be seen HERE, and I'll be posting some pages soon so watch the gallery & pinterest for new pages.

I have spaces on the classes this weekend if you would like to jump in and grab a spot so you can check out the products in person and be one of the first to use them.

My order will be going in this weekend so don't delay that glass of wine and sit down with the catalogue or drop me a line to book into the class.

Classes
Saturday 12 Oct - both for Beginners & Intermediate

  • 9.30am - 12.30pm
  • 2pm - 5pm

Talking of Classes, the Masterclass bookings close this weekend, so if you are thinking about it, I dare you, just do it.  You'll have heaps of fun and you are guaranteed to learn something new - Christine IS the master!  Even if you are a beginner we will be on hand to help you get the best out of the day and get confident with star class decorations.   Check out my blog post about it HERE.

That's all this time,

Happy Scrappin'

September Products

Hello ladies,

I'm a little late posting this month as I've had a few weeks off as my parents were visiting.  It was lovely to spend time with them and show them around the Bunbury area.

Anyway, back to our scrapping.   September is more than half over and I need to remind you about the great new products that were released at the beginning of the month.

I've not had time to play yet, but the Bali template looks amazing - it has the useful tool stencil so that your ink / chalk decoration will be seamless!  It also comes with pre-cut pages for those special layouts.   I'm loving the two new colour pages along with the plain and essentials patterned paper, plus the matching inks!

To cap things off there is not one, not two but three, yes THREE baskets to choose from for an even better deal on products.  Take a look at the September brochure and drop me a line if you want to order anything.

The seaside theme will be perfect for scrapping photos of our retreat in March at Seaview Retreat Centre in Rockingham.  There is still time to book in - just head over to the retreat page for details.

Don't forget too, that we have a member of the Azza Creative Team, Christine, coming over in November for a Masterclass - you'll get the latest Azza Scrap kit to use on the day.  Contact me or Lyn to book your spot as places are limited and I know it is popular.

That's all for now, hopefully I'll get a couple of pages done with the Bali template to share with you next time!

Happy Scrappin'
Barb :-)
