July Azza Update

Hello everyone,

As our friends, family and colleagues lock down in Victoria, life is starting to move to a 'new normal' in WA, we can meet again and so I have a class in July - I've found a venue where we can sit at a suitable distance apart and scrap away, so it will next Saturday, 9.30 - 12.30 and 1.30-4.30, byo lunch, tea / coffee provided.  Email or message me to book in and for more details.

July Products

I'll be able to show you are lovely new template - Nairobi, here is a pic of a page I've created using it.

The two templates go together beautifully to make a double page as well... (still working on that one).

We've also got a really useful decoration basket this month - at least it is if you like visiting our fantastic wine regions... here is a glimpse...

Great news for those who missed out in April due to Covid-19 production/supply delays - new stocks have now arrived. As well as selling the individual products, the RIVER BASKET will be made available again in July for those who missed out in April.

Here's a page with some River products..

Check out the new catalogue - follow the link to our JULY Catalogue flipping book.

#GreatAustralianCraftShow

Did you know Azza has been at the #greataustraliancraftshow - fully on line with special 'Christmas in July' baskets.  Check out the AZZA Shop to grab a bargain.

Until next time, Happy Scrappin'

June Products and Zoom Classes

Hello!

The nights are closing in and although we are having unseasonably warm weather in Western Australia, you can tell that winter is on the way.

I've been getting some scrapping done and planning the next pages of my album.   I am loving the River theme and now we have a new one called 'Silhouettes',  and the template for June is Cancun.    Here is my page with this great new template:

The flowers & birds are the Silhouette Theme stamps, and the patterned paper is the same set. The deer head is a die from a couple of Christmas's ago that was a mini-stamp & die set called "Oh Deer".

I'm loving using our resin dots too.  They just finish a page off!

Check out the catalogue from the link on the right of the page.  I'll be putting an order in on 13 June, so let me know if you would like anything before then.

CLASSES
Unfortunately, my scrap room is not large enough to accommodate more than two other people under the current regulations (Phase 3 in WA)  so classes will have to continue on line for the time being.  Let me know if you would like to join in, they will be on a Saturday afternoon WAST.

I'll be showing the new products, and sharing some techniques with them and doing a page along with you.  If you need basic products or consumables let me know as I generally have them in stock, I'm happy to post to you or you can collect if you are in the Bunbury area.

Take care, stay safe and carry on crafting!

Decoration Stencil Duo Flash Sale

Quick message from Azza Pacific - DON'T MISS OUT!!!!!

For 4 days only ALL our Decoration Stencil Duo sets are reduced by 20%. To purchase the stencils go to:-
https://shop.azzaworld.com.au/ and search for 'decorative stencil duo'

...or talk to ME!   Sale ends midnight on Sunday 19th April.

Not sure how to use our decoration stencils or looking for extra inspiration? Check out my gallery for inspiration or book an on-line class (and come in person when we can get together again).

Decoration Stencils are a very cost effective way of adding a decorative element to your page as they can be used over and over again with different colours, mediums - inks, chalks etc and different techniques - brush, sponge, pom pom.  Some of our stencils are themed based for example vintage, tropical, alpine, theme park, country wedding to co-ordinate with your layouts. Others are abstract and can be used on any page.

Here are some of my pages as examples...

Above: I've used a texture stencil with ink and an alphabet stencil with pen.Below: A quick and simple page - I've used ink and re-worked with chalk pencils to give more colour, finally adding a bit of zig writer for definition.

Above: I've created a scene using the daubers to just put the ink in the exact place on the chair and book to give it the 3D effect, a bit of gold gel pen finishes the edges of the 'pages' in the book.  I've then cut out the book and stuck on-top of the chair, which is itself mounted on a piece of the green paper.

Below: I've used ink and daubers again to make the lighthouse look round, finishing this scene with a silhouette figure and short length of twine.

April Update

Well hello... is any one out there???

It seems, from the news media that the whole world is stuck at home, and from my Facebook news-feed they are equally spread between those crafting furiously, baking and praying.  I have to say as one who is (thankfully) still working I do feel a little left out.  I really would like to be joining the fun, but work and study are keeping my mind from crafting.

Hope you all had a great Easter...

Azza Pacific is still packing and sending parcels out so you can get your craft supplies either from me (if you are in the Bunbury area) or direct by post.  So I do however have some beautiful new products to share in our APRIL CATALOGUE - go ahead, grab a glass and take a look.   Oh all right, here is a quick sneek peep...
Zurich is our new template, in duo or studio as usual.  Is it just me or can you see a flower bud?

If your family are into fishing or taking to the waterways of our beautiful land you'll love the decorations this month...

The detail in the stamps are stunning. So wanting time to play!

I am looking at doing some on-line scrap tables so that you can get some inspiration or just generally chat with your scrappy mates around a virtual table - I'll post times on Facebook when I've worked out my schedule.  This has not been helped by my upgrading to Office 365 and losing all my contacts and calendars.  Not impressed! Hopefully I can retrieve this weekend and be back in touch with everyone again soon.

Meanwhile... did you know it is World Creativity and Innovation week?  no neither did I until tonight.   I know you are all very creative, but have you used your Azza products in an innovative way?

Last Christmas my ladies all made beautiful art panels using our texture stencils, texture paste and inks...

and we shared a lovely lunch too!

Cheers everyone, until we can meet again in person, stay safe and carry on crafting.

Barb :-)

Happy New Year!

I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year break however you celebrate it.

Thinking of all our friends and family in all the bush fire zones this new year and hoping they come through stronger and more resilient than every.

I've set the scrapping dates for the first half of 2020.   The dates below are for the Beginners & Intermediate classes and the Chalking course.  I also have a continuing Stamping course which is on 2nd Saturday, and I might be able to run an open scrap session ('scrap table') on those days... watch this space.

DATES:
January:     25
February:   22
March:       28  (weekend following Retreat which is 20-22)
April:         CHANGED TO MAY 2 (due to ANZAC day and also 2 May is world scrapbooking day so we should party!)
May:           30  (changed as my last assignment for the semester will be due in on 29th)
June:          27  (AM session either a ‘normal’ scrap or Chalking catch up.

Chalking – Mornings  9.30 – 12.30 [five lessons: Jan / Feb / Mar / Apr/ May]
  • For this class you need the ORION template/studio and you will get a set of chalks each class.
  • Before the class I send out two example of pages which you will copy and a ‘studio page’ showing you where to place your photos.
  • It is good if you can organise your photos in advance as that gives us more time during the class.
  • During the class you build a page and then we do the technique on a page which will make a little reference booklet by the end of the course.
  • Then finish your page.
  • Cost is either:
    • Direct Debit - on the first of each month $45/month - includes 5 classes, the studio kit & chalks - obviously less if you already have the template, please ask.
    • Monthly - $37 per month - includes 1 class plus 1 chalk pack (worth $14) – NB: first month you will also need to purchase the template (duo for $29.5 or studio kit at $55) if you don't already have it.
Beginners / Intermediate – Afternoons  2 – 5.
  • For this class you just need to bring your photos - I provide everything else.
  • Cost $25
  • Includes loyalty stamp.
So there will be two lessons each day,  come for one or both.  If you want to stay for both just byo lunch.  Kettle will be on as usual, microwave available.

Let me know if you want to book in for any days - booking is ESSENTIAL as I have limited space (even a quick text the night before is helpful).

Check back here or sign up for an alert for news of our AZZA JANUARY SALE and new products, coming shortly.

Meanwhile, happy scrapping,
Barb
