Hello everyone,

We have finally made our 'sea change' and moved to beautiful Bunbury.   I'm busy sorting out the house and helping Gus with his new business, but hope to get some Azza classes going soon.

My craft room is coming on slowly...

but we are getting there.  Next week I fly off to Queenland for our national conference.  When I get back I'll be brimming with ideas and new products to share and show so do let me know when you would like a class.  You can come here or I can come to you, anywhere in the South West!

I'm looking forward to showing you all so much more about the Azza European scrapbooking style that you will probably have seen briefly at the Quilt and Craft in Perth over the years.  I hope to be at some of the local shows this year and next so look out for me and come to say 'hello'.  It's great to put names to faces.
That's all for now, more boxes to go..

Quilt and Craft Report

I've come back down to earth after a wonderful Quilt and Craft show at Perth Convention Centre. Team West has lots of people to contact who would like to know more about Azza Scrapping so there will be more classes going on left right and centre in the next few weeks.

I'll also be hosting an 'All About Azza' Session for anyone who wants to come along to find out about running your own business teaching European Scrapbooking with Azza.  If you love the style and want to come along to see how we work just get in touch and I'll make sure you get an invite.

Meanwhile, watch this space for class and demo details - and if none come up to suit you, drop me a line and I'll arrange something just for you.

Happy Scrapping

Getting moving again

My cast is off, but arm not fully fixed yet.  I think it will take some time and a bit of physio.  I haven't got back into scrapping so don't have any new pages to show you, but do check out the new catalogue on our website if you haven't seen it yet.

http://www.azzaworld.com.au/2016-catalogue/
We will have quarterly updates so watch out for the first one on 1 May.

You can purchase a hard copy for $10+Postage if you'd rather have that.

Look forward to seeing you at a class.

Happy Scrapping.

Hello Scrappers,

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and were able to collect some happy memories in your cameras, phones and hearts.   Are you ready to scrap them to preserve and share?

I’m pleased to say I have a range of classes to offer again so take your pick.   If you have a group you’d like me to come to just give me a shout.  I hope to have the cast off by 15th April, so should be mobile again soon after.

New Old Class
Some of my regular ladies have asked me to run a traditional Azza course, it’s what we call the ‘interlocking’ technique.  Basically you use shapes rather than a template and ‘freestyle’.  There are six classes and we cover:
·         circles & ovals,
·         hexagons & fantasy shapes,
·         spiro & trimmer
·         how to use the templates to achieve this technique,
·         and basic azza decoration.

I’ve got a couple of places on the first class this Saturday (2 April) at 2pm, but will hold another ‘Step 1’ on Wednesday 20 April, 7.30pm, after that, chose to come to the Sat or Wed.   No previous Azza or scrapbooking experience necessary.

Here are a couple of ideas of what you might achieve in your first class:

Regular Azza classes
Continue on Saturdays 9 April and 14 May at 2pm – booking essential.

SPECIAL – “Open That Bag”
Have you had a tidy up ready for the craft & quilt show this year and found your bag from last year? Want a reminder what to do?  Special class for you, bring the bag, open it up and let’s get you using it.
Saturday 30 April 2pm,
Wednesday 11 May 7.30pm

ALL Classes
You only need bring your photos, I provide everything else, (unless you want to ‘bring your bag’),
Cost: $25
Time: approx. 3 hrs
You’ll leave with a finished page, and the inspiration and knowledge to build an Azza page yourself.
Booking for all classes is essential – by email please.

Look forward to catching up and hearing your stories.

Happy scrapping,

Barb

Happy Azza New Year

Happy New Year Everyone,

I hope you received lots of lovely crafty things for Christmas.
If you are still waiting for Santa to fill your stockings, or just can't get enough crafty stuff, below I have attached the latest new products from AZZA.

You'll see we have a fantastic new tool - all concentric circles, in fact, 3 different sizes.  These plastic circles pop out of each other to give almost infinite number of masks to use when you are chalking, inking or just wanting to mark your photos/paper to cut.   I know we have been creating already in 2016 and have found them SOOOO useful.

Click here to open the slides in a new window

Let me know if you want to order anything - just send me your name and contact details and the code & name of the products, and i'll be in touch.

Keep watching this blog to see our clearance items coming soon (see 'follow by email' on the right, and you'll get email updates)

Meanwhile, have a wonderful 2016, keep healthy and crafty, enjoy time with your loved ones and a little for yourself too.

Dear Scrappers,

I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas, and for those who celebrate other special events this time of year, that you shared good times with those you love too.

I’m sure a few of you would have been working, and we thank those of you in health, emergency, retail and hospitality who gave up some of your time to ensure others were looked after.  I hope you are able to catch up with loved ones soon.

As the year comes towards the end I find myself filling up calendars for 2016 with birthdays, anniversaries and other special events I don’t want to miss.  So whilst you’ve got yours out, why not put an (A) for Azza against our class dates for 2016 – even if you don’t yet know if you will make it.  That way you can drop me a line and book in when you do know.  Of course, if you can’t make any of the dates you can drop me a line with the dates when your group meets and see if we can tie up something just for you.

Don’t forget too, those of you out of metro, we now have a camper van and are always looking for an excuse to head out, so again, drop me a line and let me know what you would like, where and when and we’ll see if we can’t make a date.  I’m happy to do a full day for those in the country if that makes it more worthwhile for your ladies.

So those date for your calendar:
(basically second Saturday each month in Beeliar)
9 January
13 February
12 March
9 April
14 May
11 June
9 July
13 August (this one maybe cancelled/rearranged for a holiday… watch this space)
10 September
8 October
12 November

Rest of the details about the same as in previous years:
Time: 2pm – 5pm
Cost: $25
You bring: your photos
I supply: everything else you need, including tools.
Booking: essential, by email please
Venue: my home, Beeliar

I’m also happy to do Skype classes if you can’t make it to me, and I can’t make it to you… only difference is, you have to supply everything you need!

And I can do card classes… mmm something new…

Watch out – details of our annual clearance coming on 11 January.  Be ready to get in quick with your order, sale items always fly out of the door quickly.

I’m looking forward to bringing some exciting new products to you in 2016, and wait with anticipation our new catalogue which we hope to be here late Feb or early March.

New Toronto Studio Template, Mandela Decorative Theme kit and Focus Box Leaves

It's been a couple of months since we have had a whole new set of Azza products to play with so we've been having great fun playing and putting all sorts of ideas on our pages to inspire you.

If you have been following Azza for a while you'll know that they often bring out a set or two of specialist pages - that is, pre-cut pages to complement the 30x30 scrapbooking pages and add a bit of extra interest or 'va-va-boom!' to your albums.  These 'Leaves' are no exemption.  in each kit you get two sets of one 30x30 page, plus two rounded sheets and one circular sheet, cut in half.  Use some or all of them, mix and match, add them together, twist them round, loads of different ways to use them.  As always they compliment the latest template, in this case the beautiful Toronto.   But this one is different...

Rather than get the traditional two templates you get one, plus a set set of stencils to assist in the decorative work - so that you can blank of to create uninterrupted chalk or ink waves and curves for example.  It makes life soooo easy.  Talking of decoration, the Theme kit is just divine.

Mandela is so versatile, I have used it to make tyres for a car page, and flowers for a ... well, flowery page, and here with the Leaves just as a random decoration.

I'd better stop rabbiting on and let you have a look at the pages.  What do you think?

If you'd like to have a go at making a page why not come to a class. Don't forget, all sets and individual items can be purchased from me. Either collect from me (Beeliar, WA) or I can send.  Drop me a line and I'll see how I can help.
